Product details
MyChron5 660 is AiM's most complete system for sampling, recording and reviewing Jr. Dragster data, and carries NHRA homologation.
Running on its own, it captures:
- Engine RPM and jackshaft RPM
- Cylinder head temperature and exhaust gas temperature
- Speed, worked out from jackshaft RPM and the final drive ratio
- CVT and overdrive, worked out from engine and jackshaft RPM
- Linear acceleration, worked out from speed
The large LCD keeps the three most important staging values — RPM, EGT and CHT — clearly visible in real time, and below 5,000 RPM a Steady Stage function averages the RPM reading with a dedicated stabiliser for more consistent carburetor tuning.
A single button press brings up a Post Run Review: maximum values (with the time they occurred) for engine RPM, jackshaft RPM, overdrive and temperatures, total run time, the Overdrive 1:1 point where engine and jackshaft RPM cross, and the staging RPM.
After-Test Graphs plot RPM and jackshaft speed, exhaust gas and cylinder head temperature, plus the CVT, overdrive channels and calculated wheel speed; data can be reviewed in RaceStudio 3 Analysis, AiM's free software, with time plots, setup sheets, histograms and scatter plots.
