MultiChron is a versatile, hand-held digital lap timer suited to almost any racing situation, able to track up to four competitors at the same time. Its memory covers 99 laps for each driver, with as many as 9 splits recorded per lap for every competitor, and best laps or a full run of any competitor's times can be scrolled back through easily.
It weighs just 100 g with batteries fitted, in a rugged black case with a bright display suited to any competition. AiM marks it out of production on its own site.
Two start modes cover different race formats: One Start begins timing for every competitor with a single button press, for races where everyone sets off together, while Multi Start begins each competitor's time independently, for staggered starts.
For accurate times even when racers cross the line close together, Multi Key mode assigns a time to each racer via buttons 1 to 4 as they pass, while One Key mode captures all four times on the same key and lets them be assigned to each racer afterwards — useful in a tight finish.
