HEL Performance's adapters and fittings route fuel, oil and water lines across a wide range of motorsport and automotive uses, in systems that must withstand high pressure, demanding conditions and extreme heat. Components - spanning stainless steel bleed nipples through to aluminium hose ends - are CNC-machined from premium materials, giving strong resistance to corrosion and wear.
A hose finisher tidies the look of braided hose and is held in place on the hose end with a stainless steel worm-drive clamp. It is designed to spread the clamping load evenly so the internal rubber hose is not distorted during fitting - simply push it over the outer braid and tighten the worm drive.
Cutting braided rubber hose often leaves the over-braid frayed at the edge, which can be sharp to the touch as well as untidy. Hose finishers are styled to match the look of AN hose ends, offering an alternative to standard hose clamps.
These finishers work only with standard rubber hose, silicone hose and braided rubber hose. PTFE-lined hose is the exception, since the clamping force needed here cannot produce a secure, leak-free seal on its lining.
Fittings and adapters are made from 6061-T6 aluminium and finished in a hard-wearing black anodised coating.
