This thermal switch fits any automotive oil or coolant circuit that has a 1/8" NPT female port, such as an inline port adapter. Once the fluid hits its set temperature, it switches on a 12-volt accessory - for example a cooling fan relay or oil pump. It's available with three presets: 82°C (180°F), 88°C (190°F) or 93°C (200°F).
Wiring this thermal switch straight to an oil pump or electric fan is not permitted - it can only be used to trigger a relay, since it isn't rated for high current draw.
