Gillard Rookie MY2025 kart chassis

Gillard is a British chassis marque, founded in 1980 by Tim Gillard, that joined OTK Kart Group's family of brands in 2020. Gillard states it is the sole UK-based marque to have taken both a European title (2001, 2004, 2005) and a World Championship (2005), with former Formula 1 drivers Kimi Raikkonen and Valtteri Bottas among those who raced its chassis; from the 2022 homologation onward, Gillard chassis have been made by OTK Kart Group.

Gillard Rookie MY2025

The Rookie MY2025 is Gillard’s chassis for the Mini classes, developed by OTK Kart Group’s R&D department. It keeps the frame geometry of earlier versions and comes in two versions: EVS, set up for soft-compound tyres, and EVM, for medium-compound tyres. According to Gillard, the 2025 update brings M9 front spoiler and fairings, BMT4 spindles with 235 mm steering rods, magnesium front and rear hubs, forged multi-adjustable aluminium pedals, a reshaped fuel tank, an integral floorplate and a machined aluminium chain tensioner. The BSM5 braking system now uses 4A pads and a 149 mm floating disc.
