The VTJ is Vortex's CIK-FIA homologated engine for OKJ, FIA Karting's Junior direct-drive category, replacing the twice world-champion DTJ (2020-2022). It keeps the qualities Vortex built that record on: compact size, a low centre of gravity, light weight and reliability, while moving to an updated crankcase-casting process and, for the first time on this engine, Vortex's paired crankcase boring step.
