The VTZ is built for KZ and KZ2, FIA's shifter-kart categories, and shares its 115 mm connecting rod with the world- and vice-world-champion RTZ it replaces. Unlike the air-cooled RTZ, the VTZ runs water cooling, and Vortex gave it its own reshaped exhaust and muffler.
